Fixing Audiobook Issues
While it’s rare to have trouble downloading and playing these audiobook files, some users have devices that need a little tweaking. So if your audiobook app is either not loading the files, try the following strategies.
Try this first:
- Delete the audiobook app,
- reboot your phone,
- make sure you have the latest IOS upgrade,
- reinstall the audiobook app,
- then open the Chrome or Edge browser (use either of these two and not Safari), log into your account and try the download again.
Try this next: Reboot your router and modem as shown below.
- Unplug the power from both your router and modem. 2. Wait at least 30 seconds. 3. Plug the power back into your modem. The lights will come on, and it will boot up, reconnecting with your ISP. This process may take a few minutes. 4. Monitor the modem’s lights—they might blink differently while connecting, and there might be an “Internet” light that turns green when the connection is established. 5. Finally, plug your router back into its power source. Its lights will come on as well.
Try downloading the audiobook files again. If this doesn’t work, let me know and I’ll assist you. Write me at: rod@rodmachado.com.
